Prop firm Goat Funded Trader has introduced a Track Record feature that allows traders to create a public link displaying their account statistics, from returns and drawdown to the Sharpe ratio and trade history.
Goat Funded Trader has added a new Track Record tool to its dashboard, allowing traders to publicly share their trading performance. Users can generate a dedicated link for an account and choose which data they want to make visible to others.
A public profile can include the balance curve, overall returns, maximum drawdown, win rate, Sharpe ratio, monthly performance and full trade history. Traders can also hide individual categories of information, including account balance, trading volumes and transaction history.
The format provides more context about a trader’s performance than traditional profit screenshots or payout certificates. The same overall return can be achieved with very different levels of risk, while data on drawdown, consistency and individual trades can provide a clearer picture of how the result was generated.
However, Track Record should not be treated as independent verification of a trader’s performance. The statistics are generated within Goat Funded Trader’s own infrastructure, while the account holder decides how much information is made publicly available.
The introduction of such tools may point to a broader trend in the prop trading industry, with firms experimenting with additional transparency mechanisms. UK-based LEVAFX recently launched its Leva Awards system, which allows users to confirm payouts through public blockchain transactions. While LEVAFX focuses on verifying that a payout was made, Goat Funded Trader provides greater visibility into how a trader achieved their trading results.
Neither approach can yet be considered an industry-wide standard, but both illustrate a gradual shift away from conventional payout certificates and screenshots toward more detailed and potentially verifiable data.
