Opinion of the Mystery Shopper
OANDA Prop Trader is a proprietary trading branch of the large and well-known OANDA group, offering traders the opportunity to complete a challenge on a demo account with real market conditions. The company is suitable for disciplined traders ready to follow strict risk rules and news restrictions, but beginners or less experienced traders may need time to adapt to these strict rules and high trading discipline.
Is the company suitable to be recommended for cooperation?
I personally did not purchase a challenge at OANDA Prop Trader, so I leave the decision to you. I believe that beginners may find the platform too strict due to its restrictions and high trading discipline.
Proofs:

Company has the backing of a big name, which gave me some initial confidence. The spreads are tight and execution is solid – no real complaints there. But the prop side feels a bit undercooked. The rules aren't super transparent, especially around how they calculate drawdowns and evaluate risk. I also ran into delays with account setup and verification, which felt clunky compared to other prop firms. Support responds, but not always with clear answers. It’s not a bad experience, just not as smooth or trader-focused as you'd expect from a firm like OANDA.
