Our editorial team recently had an unpleasant experience with GoatFundingTraders, and we believe it is worth sharing with our readers.
First, we noticed that our referral link, which had previously been published on our website, was no longer active.
We then logged into our GoatFundingTraders account to check what had happened. To our surprise, the entire affiliate section was missing from the dashboard. There was simply no affiliate area where we could check our referral activity or earnings.
Naturally, this raised some questions: what happened to our affiliate account, and what about any referral earnings that may have accumulated?
We contacted support, but unfortunately, we were not given a clear explanation or a meaningful solution.
We then found the company’s CEO on LinkedIn and contacted him directly to ask what was going on. He requested our email address and said he had forwarded the issue to the relevant team.
At the time of publication, two days have already passed, and we still have not received a final answer or resolution.
To be fair, we may be getting ahead of ourselves with this review. It is entirely possible that this was simply a technical issue or an account error that the company will eventually resolve. We are not claiming that GoatFundingTraders intentionally disabled our referral link or withheld any affiliate earnings.
Still, it leaves us with a bad feeling.
From an affiliate partner’s perspective, discovering that a referral link published on your website has suddenly stopped working, followed by finding that the entire affiliate section has disappeared from your dashboard, is certainly concerning. Especially when there may be referral earnings involved.
For now, we no longer consider GoatFundingTraders a trusted partner. We are removing the company from our list of trusted partners, although we are not removing it from our general listing just yet. We are giving the company an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
If it turns out to have been a simple mistake and our affiliate access is restored, we will be happy to update this review and revise our assessment.
But for now, there is little desire on our side to work with a partner where something as important as affiliate access can simply disappear without a clear explanation.
We will see how this story ends.
